The 4th Wall Music chamber collective began in 2013 with founding members Liesel Deppe, Amy Ley, Julian Jeun and Faith Scholfield. In 2014 Trevor Pittman joined the group. The group is mainly made up of Windsor Symphony players and has a strong connection to the Orchestra. Most of the performances take place in the Joy Theatre, within the Symphony's Capitol Theatre complex.
Although there have often been wonderful chamber music performances in Windsor, 4th Wall Music is trying to bring a permanent, Windsor-based chamber music experience to the city. Most of the performers are from the city and its surrounding area and the series serves to expose and unite these talented players to Windsor audiences in an intimate musical setting.
The goal of the series is to combine great performances of a wide range of music with engaging speaking and moments of interaction with the audience. We want you to know why we chose a piece, what it says to us and allow you an opportunity to be part of the moment if you would like.
Come and see a 4th Wall Music performance this season and tell us what you think!
