Cellist Nadine Deleury was born and educated in France, she moved to the United States in 1979 and has been a resident of Windsor (in Walkerville) for 8 years. After receiving diplomas from the Paris Conservatory and Yale University, she became principal cellist of the Michigan Opera Theatre orchestra and instructor at Oakland University in Michigan. Nadine also co-founded a chamber music concert series in Detroit, this year in its 17th season Chamber Music at the Scarab Club. Always looking for innovating ideas about chamber music, she designed a concert for the Canadian Club Heritage concert in collaboration with Amy Ley. She is also actively involved in a project honouring two women artists in Windso,r which will result in the premiere of a chamber opera in March 2015. Nadine is also a cello instructor at the Academy Sainte Cécile in Windsor.
